Update your amalan and not your status.

Ramadan is entering the last ten days soon. In this last 10 days, we muslims are encourage to doubles our deeds in order to achieve lailatul qadar (not lailatul qadar night as laila in Arabic already mean night).

 Please keep in mind, the best ibadah is when we do it, we do it sincerely (we do it for Allah). So, in order the get the sincerity in our ibadah, we are advised not to publicly or individually tell anyone about our deeds.

It doesn’t mean you should do it secretly, but just don’t brag about it. What is more important? Recognition from the people around you, or the blessed from Allah?

So, don’t waste your deeds by:

1.       Update your FACEBOOK status; to tell others that you just finish your 20^th rakaat of tarawikh, plus 3 rakaats of witir.

…OR…

2.    TWEET that you just finish read all 30 juzu’ of Holy Quran on 17^th Ramadan.

…because…

There will be no different between you and hypocrite corporate (keparat) person who make a big replica of checks just to let the world know that they are donating their money to charity.
