Three annoying situations in 10 minutes

I’m home. Just arrive from Titi Mukim, bought a RM10 celcom top-up for me and gardenias for my sister. The time taken from my home to Titi Mukim, then get back home is less than 10 minutes by car.

In those 10 minutes, I have met three kind of annoying peoples. And they are all at Titi Mukim.

The first one, happen when I want to go to D-5 mart. There is a small road there, just enough for one car to go in, and one car to go out. But the problem is, there is someone who use his dick (not sure whether a man or a gurl) to think, and park his white viva on the entrance of the road. Right-on dick.

After fail to take right turn because of that dick, I have to change my plan and go to another shop. Luckily there are top-up premise and shop nearby.

So, move on to the second situation which is happening in the shop, at the counter. After paying for my gardenias, I stretch my hand (hulur tangan) to get the changes, but the cashier annoyingly put an ‘extra effort’ to put the change on the counter even though I was clearly send a message (by stretching my hand) to her that I want that changes in my hand.

Is it that hard? Do you think I want to hold your hand by doing so? If you are so afraid to touch me, just drop it into my palm. Don’t you worry about someone abusing you because my spare tire has a better looking than your face!!!

Finally, may be this is the least annoying compared to previous two situations. When I want to make a U-turn from my park back to the main road, I nearly hit someone. While I’m busy look at other vehicles, all of sudden there is a man right in front of my car. I mean really in front of my car, if I didn’t notice him, I might hit him.

May be that is also my fault because I already focusing on other vehicle and didn’t aware of pedestrian. But seriously, if I’m the pedestrian, I won’t walk straight to a car which is try to make a U-turn out of a parking spot hoping that the driver will notice me. The risk is at me (as pedestrian).

LISTEN

Listen and hear are two different things even though if translated into bahasa, both means ‘mendengar’. The different between these two words are how well we understand what we heard (or listened).

Listen carefully or hear carefully?

Hear things or listen things?

Listening is one of the hardest skills to master. Listening is important in team work, relationship or even in learning process. Everyone who is not deaf can hear, but not certainly can listen.
Most people can talk, but only few can listen.

In relationship, when we fail to listen, it will end up badly.

In learning process, if you fail to listen, you won’t understand what you try to learn.

Same goes to teamwork. Even though you are a leader, you must listen to your subordinates. The quality of a great leadership, one of the most important is listening. Not talking.

If you don’t have a leader in your group, you have to start a discussion with brainstorming, write down every single idea that your group members give.

Brainstorming’s 1st rules, you can’t criticize other’s ideas. Collect them all and then pick the best one.

Worst case scenario when someone who think he is the best, the smartest member in a group just want to do thing according to him. If you have an idea, which can simplify the work, yes, you may suggest your idea to the group. But it doesn’t mean your group member will accept it.

But what just happen to me recently, one ignorance bastard who thinks he is the leader, the smartest, the chosen one, just refuse to listen to majority, to the clear instruction and do thing according to him.

The instruction was clear, but he refused to listen. The instructor said to do A then B, next C and finally D. but you were too smart to follow the instruction. You start with C then B, then A, then back to B and when the other group already finish, we were still there, arguing about basic thing.

The result? As expected, messy, clumsy and unorganized.

So, even though you were a chosen one back then, that is the past. Already gone. A history. Today, you are no different with the rest of us, an unemployed graduated who join this program to improve our chance to get a job.

Keep that in mind and you have until Raya to learn how to LISTEN.

Hypocrite

Salam. Thank you for those who are following my blog. I really appreciate it. For today’s post, I would like to make a list of the most hypocrite situation in my daily life. It may be the same with a lot of you out there, so enjoy….
The most hypocrite situation among the boys:
  • Condemn the free hair girls, about how they expose their aurats by doing so but did you notice that you are wearing shorts to mamak, watching football match every weekend?
  •  Wants a future wife who wear hijab, who take care of her and her family dignity, beautiful, fair, knows how to make a husband happy, long story shorted, you want a perfect wife, but look at you…. Are your characteristics even matching half of the characteristics you want from your future wife? Don’t think so.
  • When you are around your friend, you become Simon Cowell, criticize every people walking pass your group but when you are with your girlfriend, suddenly you became a very shy and polite person, doesn’t even dare to pull up your chin.
While among the girls:
  •  Label boys as a pervert when you caught them staring at you but did you notice what you wearing today? Short skirt? Tight jeans? And did you aware what kind of picture did you uploaded on your FB? Are you sure your clothes doesn’t too ‘poking-the-eyes’?
  •  You claim people who not wearing a hijab (free-hair) as low dignity but even though you wearing one, did you notice that you wear a tight jeans and shirts, which expose your body curve? –which is also an aurat for muslimah?
  • You always wear Kurong to work, and you claim it is the characteristic of the real malay girls and also covering your aurats as a muslimah. True, but do you know that when you are around, all of sudden people around you will get a superpower? Really, they can see-through your Kurong directly to your skin and did you aware that your ‘kain’ had tear up to your knees?
  • When a boy save pictures of sexy models with bikini as his hand phone theme, he’ll be label as psycho, but when you put a topless picture of Rain as your FB profile picture, it’s ok.
Here is some more hypocrite situations occur around us:
  • You said you are an anti-jew, you refuse to eat at McDonald as it list as one of hundreds of company which support jews. But wait a minute, what is that? Isn’t it Colgate toothpaste? And you are a heavy smoker too!!!
  • You hate smokers. You said they didn’t love their own live and can cause people around them in danger too, but do you love yours? You drive like nuts which can cause you instant death. And you cause danger to people around you too!!!
  • As for my fiancĂ©, you always said that I put my work first before you. That’s true, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t love you; it’s all because your mother asked me RM50K for the ‘hantaran’!!!
P/s: I made up the last one.
